The Grey Lynn RSC is a city fringe club with Bar open 365 days a year. Bistro and Restaurant open Wednesday to Saturday evenings. Located at 1 Francis Street, Grey Lynn in the West Lynn Shopping Centre.
Visitors and new members are welcome.
The RSC is located in a fabulous old building, in 1902 it housed the Grey Lynn School, it then became a picture theatre and movie production house before becoming the Returned Soldiers Social Club., incorporated in 1937, now called The Grey Lynn Returned Services and Social Club. A warm friendly spacious bar. The ode is read at 6pm every night and the lights are dimmed and patrons stand and face the Honours boards.
The Grey Lynn RSC is a great function venue, boasting a large dance floor upstairs with full bar and restaurant and meeting facilities for hire only. Perfect for a private function, party venue, wedding venue, business social or dine and dance.
The downstairs bar features live bands every Friday night. The bistro meals are fresh and reasonably priced. We have Ben's Kitchen, cooking great meals. We have free parking for guests and members in our large carpark, disabled access and toilet facilities.
Large flat screen TV’s show live sports games, including rugby and rugby league and featured boxing bouts. The bar has a full TAB, gaming machines, snooker table and two pool tables. We sell tap beers, Guinness on tap, top of the range bottled beers and bottled wines and a large selection of soft drinks and juices.
We are a family friendly club, however as it's the law, children under 18 escorted by LEGAL guardians must exit the premises 30 minutes after the kitchen closes... if no kitchen that night then 7pm is the latest underage can be on premises, we also reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone as is stated in the law
Membership is currently $30.00 for Associates, $20.00 for Service and $10.00 for Returned persons. Ask at the bar.
A community gem in Grey Lynn.
